Restoration Hardware Look for Less: Timeless Furniture with a Collected Feel
I’ve loved the Restoration Hardware look for years. The scale, the warm finishes, the timeless shapes, and as I’ve started slowly refreshing our own home, I’ve realized many of the Restoration Hardware pieces we own are actually the ones I don’t want to replace.
They still feel timeless and substantial, which is exactly what I’m trying to build around as we move away from our sad, grey millennial home and toward something warmer, more collected, and full of character.
This post originally started as a collection of Restoration Hardware look-alike pieces for less, and has remained one of the most-read articles on Beaus & Ashley since I first posted it in 2019. I’m giving it a full refresh with pieces that still capture that elevated, collected feel at a more approachable price point.

Lighting
Lighting is one of the easiest places to bring in that RH feel- substantial scale, warm finishes, but without committing to a full-room overhaul.
Chairs
Chairs are such an easy way to bring in the look without overwhelming a room- materials that feel timeless rather than trendy.
I also wanted to call out this chair that is very similar to the popular Restoration Hardware Cloud Chair for much less.
Dining Tables
A great dining table can anchor an entire room. I look for warm wood tones and simple details that feel elevated without making the space formal, but still inviting.
We have the 17th C. French Bastide Oak & Marble Round Dining Table from Restoration Hardware. It is one of my absolute favorite things in our home. We’ve had it for nearly 10 years and it was worthy of the splurge. This one is sold out, but I’ve found a very similar option here.
Coffee Tables & Consoles
Pieces that make a room feel finished without feeling overdone.
Beds
A bed sets the tone for the whole room. I love upholstered texture and simple silhouettes that feel timeless without making the room feel too heavy.
I also wanted to call out this slipcovered bed that looks nearly identical to the Restoration Hardware cloud bed for about ¼ the price. We have a velvet storage bed from RH. It cost a pretty penny, but this one here looks nearly identical.
I’ve been lusting over the Thaddeus Fabric Panel Bed with the textured hammered edges for our guest room for quite awhile. I just can’t currently justify the nearly $11k price tag, but this one here has the same hammered edging for about 1/10 the price.
Sofas & Sectionals
Sofas are where both comfort and scale both really matter. I tend to gravitate towards deep, relaxed silhouettes with neutral upholstery. You can add color and pattern in with pillows. Something that feels inviting but polished.
This line looks incredibly chic, but comfortable. It is very similar to the Restoration Hardware cloud couch at a lower price point.
Dressers & Media Consoles
These larger pieces are a great place to bring in some weight and character.
The thing I love about this look is that it doesn’t have to come from one place- or one price point. The best rooms are usually a mix of investment pieces, affordable finds, and things collected over time. I’ll be sure to update this guide as I find new. pieces worth adding.
